Email automations are used to send recovery mails, marketing automations and more. Splitbee can send emails to your users on your behalf after setting up DNS records.

Setup Email records

  1. Go to Settings → Email Setup and press Start Setup. If you want to use another subdomain for the DNS records, feel free to adapt.

  1. You will see some DNS records you will need to set. Be sure to use the settings displayed in the dashboard!

  1. Press Verify to test if your settings are correct. If yes it should look like this

Creating your first email automation

  1. Create new automation, name it and select an event as a trigger. In our example we are going to send a welcome mail after creating a new project!

  1. Add a new mail action to the automation

  1. You can now set the sender information, recipient, subject and the mail's body.
